The Inter Province finals series can be considered as one of the best finals ever held in PIBAQ as both Visayas Aguilas and Team Vismin were evenly matched. Game 1 saw Team Vismin tire out the Visayas Aguilas in a double OT thriller. Game 2 saw Visayas Aguilas even the series with a three pointer in the dying seconds of the game as they take the momentum going to game 3.

The final game of the series started with the Visayas Aguilas pushing up the tempo as Team Vismin continued to grope for form. Team Vismin was solid on defense but couldn’t capitalize on their opponents’ turnovers as they continuously miss their shots. They however managed to keep the game close as Visayas could only bring up the lead to 7 at the most. In the final quarter, Team Vismin were determined to turnaround the game was able to lead by 3 with four minutes remaining. The Visayas Aguilas were quick to regrouped and made a see saw battle for the lead until the last 13 seconds when Team Vismin was whistled for an out of bounds violation as they still lead by 1. After the time out, conference MVP, Ryan Calimpong drove from top of the key for an under goal basket to give the Visayas Aguilas a 1 point  lead which proved to be dagger to Team Vismin’s hopes. Ryan Calimpong was chosen as Finals MVP as he scored a game high 23 points along with 4 rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Conference Mythical Five awards were given to Japser Bay of Manila, Oliver Roxas of Pangasinan, Jeffrey Defensor of Vismin, Christian Candido and Ryan Calimpong of Visayas. The Conference MVP was awarded to Ryan Calimpong and the Most Defensive Player went to Jeffrey Defensor. Coach Andie Tudio was awarded the Best Coach of the Conference.
